The American SetAI-Generated Animated Feature Sets December U.S. Opening to Qualify for the Academy Awards
The AI studio Fable has moved the U.S. theatrical release of "Gods Don't Give Gifts" to December, a later date that lets the film compete for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards. The studio has also released the film's first trailer. The picture is billed as the first film made with artificial intelligence to play in movie theaters. Its December run puts the film on American screens in the last weeks of the calendar year.
