Andrew Scott has moved into serious contention for the Best Actor Oscar this season on the strength of his performance in "Elsinore," according to a Telluride awards analysis from The Hollywood Reporter. The analysis points out that no openly gay actor or actress has ever won an Academy Award for acting. A win for Scott would make him the first.
