‘Chronovisor’ Turns the Library Reading Room Into the Real Star
Variety's review of "Chronovisor" gives most of its praise to a setting rather than a plot twist: an old-school library reading room, aged dark wood throughout, with green-and-gold reading lamps casting small pools of light against the surrounding dark. The trade publication calls the mystery eerie and fiendishly clever, and says it was made for anyone whose happy place is exactly that kind of room and the smell of old books. It is a mood many Beverly Hills readers with a favorite reading nook of their own will recognize on sight.
