Digital Horror Creator With 7 Million Followers Moves Into Features
Spencer Lackey, whose short-form horror content has built an online audience of seven million followers, is stepping into feature filmmaking with a project titled "Lust." The film is backed by Neon and Blumhouse's Atomic Monster banner, with genre veterans Steven Schneider of Spooky Pictures, Jason Blum, and James Wan attached as producers. The lineup places one of social media's most-followed horror creators alongside some of the industry's most established names in the genre.
