For Director Scott Waugh, Action Filmmaking Runs in the Family
Scott Waugh, who directed "Runner," approaches big-budget action sequences differently than most filmmakers working in the genre today. Before he ever sat in a director's chair, Waugh worked as a stunt performer starting at age 12, following his father into the stunt profession. On "Runner," he applied that background to staging the film's explosive set pieces alongside star Alan Ritchson.
