Documentary Producer Alex Gibney's Jigsaw Backs New Film From 'Hail Satan?' Director Penny Lane

Documentary filmmaker Penny Lane has settled on her next subject: Happy, the elephant at the Bronx Zoo. Lane, known for "Hail Satan?" and "Our Nixon," is making the film in partnership with Alex Gibney's production company, Jigsaw. The project marks the latest pairing for Gibney's shop with an established nonfiction director.
