Filmmakers Unveil New Pete Townshend Documentary Built Around The Who's Unfinished Rock Opera

Frank Marshall and Nigel Sinclair have announced "Pete Townshend: Behind Blue Eyes," a documentary made with the cooperation of the longtime Who songwriter. The two filmmakers discussed the project's focus on "Lifehouse," a science fiction rock opera Townshend began writing as a follow-up to "Tommy" but never finished. The film is built around that unrealized work rather than a conventional band history.
