Gael García Bernal Measures His New Film Against the One That Started His Career

Actor Gael García Bernal, widely recognized for his early lead roles in the landmark Mexican films "Amores Perros" (2000) and "Y Tu Mamá También" (2001), has also built a career as a director. He is currently at work on his third feature behind the camera. In a new interview, García Bernal said he hopes the project endures the way "Amores Perros" has. He named that earlier film specifically as the standard he is measuring his own directing work against.
