'Hope' Opens in 1,500 U.S. Theaters Starting Sept. 9

Neon will release "Hope," directed by Na Hong-Jin, in roughly 1,500 theaters across the United States beginning Sept. 9. The distributor says the rollout gives the film the widest domestic theatrical release for a Korean-language title since Neon's 2019 release of "Parasite," which went on to win the studio's Best Picture Oscar. The theater count places "Hope" among the more widely distributed international releases to reach American screens in recent years.
