Koreeda Adapts Fujimoto's 'Look Back' for the Screen

Hirokazu Koreeda has directed a new screen version of "Look Back," the acclaimed one-shot work by manga creator Tatsuki Fujimoto. The story was previously brought to audiences in 2024 through a medium-length anime retelling. Koreeda's telling follows the manga's account of teenage friendship and the pursuit of art.
