Meryl Streep and documentarian Laura Poitras have joined Julia Loktev's next film as executive producers, The Hollywood Reporter reports. The project continues Loktev's documentary work following independent Russian journalists who left Moscow after being labeled "foreign agents" by the Russian government. It follows Loktev's 2024 film on the same subject. Streep and Poitras take on the producing roles as the follow-up moves forward, according to the trade publication.
