Neon Places Andrew Garfield in Supporting Actor, Yura Borisov in Lead for "Artificial" Oscar Push
Neon will campaign for Andrew Garfield in the supporting actor category and Yura Borisov in the lead actor category for its film "Artificial," as part of its Academy Awards effort for the film. The category split puts Borisov at the top of the ticket and Garfield in the supporting race, where he also competed for "The Social Network" sixteen years ago, in which he played a co-founder of Facebook. Category placement is one of the first decisions a studio makes each awards season, and it shapes the race that follows through the winter. Neon's choice for "Artificial" is now set.
