Neon Places Andrew Garfield in Supporting Category, Yura Borisov in Lead for "Artificial" Awards Push
The distributor Neon has decided how it will present "Artificial" to Academy voters. Andrew Garfield will compete for a supporting performance, and Yura Borisov will go for the top acting prize. Variety says the category decisions were confirmed in an exclusive report. The supporting slot puts Garfield back in a race he last entered sixteen years ago, when he played a Facebook co-founder in "The Social Network."
