"Sumo: Spirit Weighs Nothing," a documentary directed by Erik Shirai, has received a positive review from Variety Film, which calls the film a handsome tribute to a sport it describes as often disrespected. According to the review, the film's title carries the closest thing to a joke about its subject, a rare light touch within an otherwise respectful portrait of sumo wrestling.
