New Film Brings Dostoevsky's German Years to Telluride Screens
A new drama built around a stretch of Fyodor Dostoevsky's life in Germany had its premiere at the Telluride Film Festival. Aimee Lou Wood and Johnny Flynn star as the author and his wife, with Vicky Krieps also in the cast. The film centers on a turbulent period the couple spent abroad, the same stretch during which Dostoevsky completed one of his most significant novels. The Colorado festival gave audiences their first look at the project.
