New Platform Aims to Connect Genre Filmmakers Directly With Their Fans

Ripcord, a newly launched independent film platform, is making its debut with a festival built for that audience. The company says its goal is to link genre filmmakers directly with the fans who follow their work. The event, called the Halloween Film Festival, marks the platform's first public showcase.
