MS NOW, the cable news network backed by Versant Media, is rolling out a subscription-based app this week. The service, built around a membership model, gives viewers a way to interact directly with on-air personalities, including Rachel Maddow and the hosts of "Morning Joe." The launch extends the network beyond its traditional cable presence, framing it as a social platform as much as a broadcast one.
