Sam Altman Says He Waved at Andrew Garfield When "Artificial" Filmed Outside His Home

Sam Altman, chief executive of OpenAI, has never been formally introduced to Andrew Garfield, the actor playing him in Luca Guadagnino's upcoming film "Artificial." Altman says the production shot a scene outside his house, and he greeted Garfield from a distance with a wave. Speaking in a new Vanity Fair cover story, Altman said Garfield's walk looked like his own. He described the experience of watching an actor play him on his own street as strange.
