The American SetScreams Are Back at Universal Studios Hollywood, a Short Drive From Beverly Hills
Halloween Horror Nights opened Thursday at Universal Studios Hollywood, marking the return of the theme park's haunted-house season just over the hill from Beverly Hills. This year's lineup includes mazes built around the film "Sinners" and season five of "Stranger Things," according to Variety. Guests moving through the park Thursday night went from the excited screams of the daytime rides to the startled screams the haunted mazes are designed to draw out. The opening night sets the tone for the run, which continues through the fall at the Universal City park many Los Angeles-area residents can reach in minutes.
