Stephen Chow's 'Kung Fu Soccer' Comes to American Theaters Oct. 23 With an English-Language Version

Moviegoers in Los Angeles will be able to see "Kung Fu Soccer," Stephen Chow's follow-up to "Shaolin Soccer," beginning Oct. 23, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The date applies to theaters across the United States, and the picture arrives in Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland the same day. The film was the leading title at Chinese theaters over the summer, the outlet reported. For its North American run, a fresh English-language dub has been recorded. Chow himself takes part in that version, and the voice cast also includes Jimmy O. Yang and MC Jin. The release gives local audiences a chance to see the new entry in a theater rather than waiting for a home-viewing option.
