Stephen Colbert took home honors at the 2026 Emmy Awards, arriving at the ceremony months after his run hosting CBS's late night show came to a close earlier this year. Colbert used the moment to share an update on a Lord of the Rings movie project he is attached to. The Emmy recognition marks a notable moment for the host as he moves into this next chapter of his career.
