Victor Miller, Writer of the Beverly Hills-Filmed "Friday the 13th," Dies at 86
Screenwriter Victor Miller, who wrote the original 1980 slasher film "Friday the 13th," has died at 86. His son, Ian, wrote in a tribute that his father was often the smartest and funniest person in the room, and credited him with instilling in his family a love of photography, music, and storytelling.
