Letting the Farm Set the Palette: A Summer Wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns

Rachel and Nick chose to have their summer wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and to let the green of the property decide the look of the day. For anyone planning a summer date, that is a choice worth considering: start from what the venue already has in season, then build the design around it. Rebecca Grace Events planned the wedding and kept the styling spare. The interest came from texture, not from piling on more decoration. Heart & Soil Flowers did the florals. Most of the color was already there, so the arrangements could work with the natural setting instead of trying to outdo it. It is a useful model if you want a day that feels composed rather than busy, with the setting doing much of the visual work.
