Live Magnolias Under the Canvas: How One Planner Made a Tent Feel Like a Dinner Party
Caroline and Anthony asked for a small dinner with their guests, not a big reception, and the setup at The Argyle Club San Antonio was built to match. Ash Event Co. put up a tent and kept the palette to two colors, white and green. Inside, there were living magnolia trees, and the fabric panels were made to order with a magnolia design. If you're planning a tent, this is a good example of how the decor can do the job of interior walls. Fabric and greenery around the tables make a tent read as a room. Here one flower, the magnolia, shows up both in the textiles and as actual trees, which keeps the look consistent from the drapery to the branches. For a guest count this small, that kind of focus works better than spreading the budget across many ideas.
