Jefferson's Reserve Now Pours Stronger, and Tells You Its Age
The Jefferson's Reserve bottle that anchors so many back bars from Worth Avenue to Fifth Avenue South has been quietly reworked. The bourbon now comes in at a greater strength than it did before, and the label now states how long the whiskey spent in the barrel, a detail it previously kept to itself. Miami will notice the extra kick first; Naples will appreciate being told the number. Either way, the next pour of the house bourbon is a little more candid, and a little more serious, than the last one.
