Nine Million Dollars on the Hudson, for Floridians Who Keep a Foot in Manhattan
Plenty of Palm Beach and Naples households keep a Manhattan address for the months when Florida gets quiet, and the newest one to watch sits on Leroy Street. The condominium at 111 Leroy, in the West Village, has come to market with an asking price of nine million dollars. Its windows take in the Hudson River, which is roughly the view a Floridian trades for when the Intracoastal starts to feel familiar. The seller is Alex Malamatinas, an investor in Olipop, who took ownership of the home in 2021. Miami would call the figure reasonable, Palm Beach would call the place a pied-à-terre, and Naples would want to know where the car goes. Whichever camp you belong to, a river-facing residence in the Village is the sort of thing that carries well at a Florida dinner table.
