Alive Hospice has picked the Bluebird Café as the honoree of its first Alive and Legacy Breakfast. The organization is the sole nonprofit hospice serving Middle Tennessee. As a first edition, the breakfast is starting a tradition, and the Bluebird is the first name that tradition has chosen to recognize. In a town that measures itself by its songs, it is fitting to see one charity choose to honor the room where so many of those songs were first heard.
