Palm Beach's theatergoers know a serious pedigree when they see one, and this is about as serious as it gets. The original production of Sunday in the Park with George was honored with the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, a distinction few shows ever collect. It is a credential that outlives any single staging, the kind mentioned reverently among people who take an evening at the theater seriously. That is the sort of history worth knowing, season after season.
