A new study puts general aviation's value to the national economy at $339 billion. The same study ties more than 1.3 million jobs across the country to the sector. For owners, general aviation isn't an abstraction. It's the category their own aircraft fly under, whether the hangar is in Naples, Nashville or Colorado. These two numbers describe that whole category, from the Florida coast to the Rockies, and every owner is somewhere inside them.
