Bye Aerospace's eFlyer 2 has now flown. It is a training aircraft that runs on electric power alone. The first flight opens its test campaign and comes only weeks after the Federal Aviation Administration gave its approval, in the same month. Owners who have watched programs stall between paperwork and the runway will note the order here: the regulator signed off first, and then the airplane went up.
