The National Business Aviation Association and Citation Jet Pilots have formally asked the FAA to wait three months before withdrawing the exemptions that let these Citations be flown by one pilot. They have also asked the agency to set up a working group that includes them. For owners who fly their own airplanes, that is the request that counts: a rule worked out with the people who fly under it, not one simply handed down. The request is now with the FAA.
