DoorDash has shown a new unmanned aircraft built to carry orders. It holds a Part 135 air carrier certificate from the FAA, issued in July, which puts its operation under the same certificate type that governs on-demand charter, though the payload here is far smaller. The first service is planned for the northern half of California. For owners flying in that region, a newly certificated operator in the low-altitude airspace is worth a note in the logbook.
