NASA Asks America to Point Its Phones Skyward

NASA is inviting Americans to step outside, phone in hand, and photograph the clouds above them — including the clear, high-altitude skies that draw so many to Aspen each season. The space agency says the submitted images will be put toward ongoing scientific study of the sky. No special equipment is needed, only a smartphone and a moment spent looking up. The invitation is open to anyone willing to take part.
