The Console Table Gets a New Occupant: Apple's HomeView

Apple has introduced a device built for the house, and it is called Apple HomeView. The object is finished in a choice of four colorways, its face a display with equal sides rather than the familiar wide rectangle. Set on an entry console or a kitchen counter, it reads less like equipment and more like something chosen to sit among the other objects a well-kept room collects. Whether it earns that place beside the lamp and the stack of books is the question its owners will settle.
