Julianne Moore Stays in the Village, Moving From a Town House to the Top Two Floors of a 1920s Building
Julianne Moore, the Academy Award winner, has left her Manhattan town house for an apartment on two levels at the top of a building that went up in the 1920s. She didn't go far. The new home is in Greenwich Village, the same part of the city she already lived in. It's a familiar New York move: a whole house becomes the upper floors of a prewar building, and the address barely changes. The rooms are described as calm and full of daylight, and the top of a building is where that kind of light is easiest to get. Moore did the interiors herself, and the result reads as the work of a natural designer. No price for either property is on the public record.
