A da Vinci Arrives at the Met, on Loan From Ken Griffin
The Citadel founder has placed a Leonardo da Vinci work at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, putting a piece of his holdings before the public. The gesture follows his acquisition earlier this year of an Artemisia Gentileschi canvas for the highest sum ever paid for her work, rounding out a banner year of collecting for the financier.
