"Hey Jude" Lyric Manuscript and the Song's Gold Record Come Up for Sale Together

Paul McCartney's 1968 handwritten lyrics for "Hey Jude," with his notes on the page, are going up for sale. They won't be sold alone. The RIAA Gold Record awarded to the Beatles after the single came out will be offered with them. That pairing is what collectors will notice: the page where the song was written, and the record that marked its success in the market, in a single sale. The seller hasn't made a price public, and What They Collect will report one only when it's disclosed.
