On the High Line, Google Shows Three Works Still in Progress

· 1 min read

Google hosted a celebration on New York's High Line for "Unfinished Projects," a presentation of personal work by Solange Knowles, PinkPantheress and Joe Burrow. The three names rarely turn up in the same sentence, and that difference seems to be the point: each contributor brought a pursuit of their own, and none of them was presented as finished. The pairing of a technology company with work that is openly still in progress stands out on a stretch of Manhattan where people usually come to see things complete. For readers who follow what gets made and shown in this city, seeing something before it is done is its own privilege.
