October's Gallery Calendar Runs From Paper to Gas-Lit Light

· 1 min read

October brings eight single-artist gallery exhibitions that Galerie has picked as essential viewing. At one end of the list is Sandra Vásquez de la Horra, whose drawings are dreamlike and full of symbols, and whose paper work is folded up into three-dimensional installations. At the other end is Keith Sonnier, shown through his first trials with neon and argon, the glowing gases behind his light-based sculpture. Between those two artists, the month covers both the quiet work of the hand on paper and the bright glow of the tube.

With reporting from Galerie.
