One Museum's Photographs Find a New Home at Virginia's Chrysler
The Philadelphia Museum of Art has given a group of Carl Van Vechten photographs to the Chrysler Museum of Art in Virginia. The pictures move from one American institution to another as a gift. In this case, generosity between museums takes a form that visitors can actually go and see. For collectors who track where work ends up, the photographs now belong to the Chrysler.
