The bird on the rock is one of the most collected silhouettes in American jewelry, and it has just been given new form. Chief artistic officer Nathalie Verdeille has reworked the perched-bird motif, originally conceived by the legendary designer Jean Schlumberger, across a fresh range of fine and high jewelry. For collectors who have long chased Schlumberger's archive pieces, the news is a reminder that the design language behind the motif is still being extended rather than simply revisited. The new pieces span both fine and high jewelry, giving collectors entry points across the market.
