Props From "Blade Runner 2049" Go to Auction, and the Collecting World Is Paying Attention

Pieces made for "Blade Runner 2049" are now being offered at auction. They are coming up for sale while the market for film memorabilia is running strong. For collectors who follow what changes hands, the appeal is simple: these are real objects that stood in front of the camera, and now anyone willing to bid has a chance to own one. The same round of sales takes in a Ferrari tied to Steve McQueen and a group of Pokémon animation cels, which shows how broadly the appetite for screen history now reaches.
