For Atlas Owners, the 2027 Redesign Earns an Early Vote of Confidence

· 1 min read

The Volkswagen Atlas starts its second generation with the 2027 model year, and the first verdict on the new model is a good one. Car and Driver has tested the redesigned Atlas and found the new generation a real step up, one that made the long lead-up pay off. Anyone who has kept a first-generation Atlas in the driveway, from Naples to Aspen, now has a favorable outside view of what replaces it. The full assessment belongs to the magazine that drove it, and for now the headline is simple: the new Atlas has arrived looking better than before.

With reporting from Car and Driver.
