Good Things, Smaller Packages: The Mazda3 Has a Banner Month

Mazda's compact, offered as both a four-door sedan and a hatchback, has just come off an exceptionally strong month on the sales charts. It isn't alone: buyers have been warming to smaller cars all through 2026, and the Mazda3 is the newest name to ride that wave. For owners who have always valued a car sized to the road and finished with care, it is a welcome sign that good design in a modest footprint is getting its due.
