D J Stable's two-year-old colt Jaded ran down a stubborn front end in Sunday's closing feature at Kentucky Downs, closing with authority from off the pace to earn Rising Star standing. The colt, a son of Olympiad out of the Orientate mare Lady Pewitt, showed the kind of finishing power connections dream about this early in a career.
