Early Card Wednesday—Colonial Downs Moves Post Time Up an Hour for Thursday's 11-Race Slate to Beat the Heat

Colonial Downs will send its Thursday field off at 9 a.m., shifting the entire 11-race card—three jump races ahead of eight on the flat—to clear the worst of the day's forecasted heat. The adjustment keeps horses and horsemen out of the peak afternoon temperatures without altering the day's lineup.
