Two New 45s From Cruisers Yachts Promise More Room Aboard
Cruisers Yachts is adding two boats to its VTR range, the 45 VTR and the 45 VTR EC, and the builder has now shown them ahead of their arrival. Both measure 45 feet. The selling points are a generous beam, a hull that combines stepped and conventional running surfaces, and more space for living aboard. For an owner, a wide beam at this length means more room to move around on deck and below, which is what decides whether a boat gets used for a whole weekend or only an afternoon. Pairing that volume with a stepped hull shows the builder is thinking about how the boat runs as well as how it lives. The builder has not published price, naval architect or full specifications, and we will report them when it does. For now, the VTR line has two new 45-footers to watch.
