Hilton Sketches a Home2 Suites That Runs Without Emissions

· 1 min read

Hilton has a new plan for its Home2 Suites brand: a hotel built from the ground up to produce no emissions. The company says a property built this way could spend as much as 40 percent less on power. No one is required to use it. Building to the new plan is a choice, not a rule. Jean Garris Hand, who leads sustainability at Hilton, expects the savings to be the main draw, since high power costs give anyone planning a new property a simple reason to pick this version. For a traveler, it means the same Home2 Suites stay, only in a building designed to run cleaner and cost less to keep lit.
