For the Rye Drinker at the Bar, Russell's Reserve Has Poured a Bourbon

· 1 min read

Russell's Reserve has a new bourbon out, and Eddie Russell, the man in charge of its distilling, says this bottling is unusually spicy when you taste it. That makes it a bourbon built for the guest who normally asks for rye, the drinker who wants some bite in the glass more than sweetness. Next time it's on the back bar, it's worth the short conversation with the bartender to try it neat first and see what that spice does.
