Designer Christian Juul Nielsen turned back to Hans Christian Andersen for his Spring 2027 collection, this time taking "The Wild Swans" as his source. Tulle moved down the runway in soft, cloud-like volumes, paired with elaborate floral arrangements built into the presentation. It is not the first time Nielsen, a fellow Dane, has drawn on Andersen's stories for a season. The pairing of fairy tale and craftsmanship keeps Aknvas working in a distinctly literary register this time around.
